The Partnership Project “Protected Childhood”The project is implemented by the National Foundation for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the International Foundation for Socio-Economic and Political Studies (The Gorbachev Foundation). The goal of the project is to facilitate advocacy and policy
dialogue on the child welfare system development in Russia through expanded
discussions of child welfare issues. - To launch a negotiation forum to discuss policy, administration and services delivery issues related to the current child welfare system development within the context of changing socio-economic situation and the development of the public administration system in Russia. - To advocate for and prepare the ground for profound studies and research related to the key problems of child welfare development, and innovative ways for their solutions. - To provide conditions and facilitate discussion between various groups of professional community and representatives of different branches of government on current issues of child welfare and developing joint recommendations.
